At Mindful Kids, the safety and wellbeing of children is at the heart of everything we do.
We are fully committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults, and expect all staff, volunteers and partners to share this commitment.

If You Have a Safeguarding Concern
If a child is in immediate danger, call 999.
If you have a safeguarding concern related to any of our activities or staff, please:

Contact our DSL immediately.

Provide as much detail as possible (who, what, when, where).

Your concern will be logged and treated with strict confidentiality.
We will:

Act swiftly to investigate and, if needed, refer to the appropriate local safeguarding board or authority.

Follow procedures outlined in the Working Together to Safeguard Children framework.

Support the child, family and anyone involved.
Safer Working Practices
All Mindful Kids staff and volunteers:

Have been safely recruited and DBS checked where applicable.

Receive safeguarding training and understand their duty to report concerns.

Promote safe environments both online and in-person.
